Ke Ola Pet Hospital

Aloha This is Ke Ola Pets, We recently called to see how Kona was doing and was told that you were unhappy with the service. If you could please give us some feedback on what they were unhappy with? Thank you. Please explain to me why I received this text message from this very vet clinic I took my dog to earlier this week. Let me explain as this is the exact texts I sent back to the number from the clinic. It took be a couple of days to respond to this text How unprofessional is it to receive a TEXT message asking what we were unhappy with instead of making an effort to have the manager or the vet contact me directly. Very unprofessional and passive. If you really cared about what was happening with our dog, this would not be the end result of your customer service. This speaks volumes. I will simply place this in bullet points. .... The unwillingness to discuss any question or answer in a private room instead of out in the lobby? Definitely not personal #2 How trained are your vet techs? Why does it take three attempts to try to draw blood from my dog and use the same exact needle each time. #3 Your Vet assistants never washed hands before examination and after attempt to look into my dogs mouth #4 Giving a piece of cheese to a dog that literally hasn't hardly eaten anything in 3 days.. after not getting able to keep down any water or it's own bile gives you the right to say nothing is wrong??!! #5 What exactly did I pay you for? You gave me a breakdown saying that if I wanted blood work it would be a certain cost, if I wanted x-rays it would be an additional cost, however there was no possibilities regarding any diagnosis. I understand that you can't say that it's a definite something until it's testing is complete but couldn't you say that it could be A B or C and we have to do XY or Z to find out??!! I'm so so confused #6 My daughter is an intern at a vet clinic. I find it really hard to believe that you folks couldn't give any indication that something is wrong with the dog especially when he went in completely lethargic? We've been monitoring him for 4 days, contacted his mobile that, been attempting to force feed him water and food to keep him sustained. And you literally said to my husband and daughter nothing is wrong?? And then have the nerve to call me and ask if I wanted to do anything on the list? When you gave no synopsis, no possible reasonings or mentioned ANYTHING that could be happening? And to top all of this off, when your receptionist calls me to ask whether or not I want to continue with anything that was on the list you gave them, and I explained we wouldn't be coming back based on us not receiving ANY possible information about our baby.. she hangs up the phone in silence.. and I receive a TEXT asking what's wrong??? I will leave the rest of the review to your imagination and you can decide if YOU would want your family member/pet treated like this and pay for it?

Great staff! Never had a bad experience here and their prices are reasonable. Took my cat here for his annual checkups and vaccines. Definitely recommend!

Doctor Yap and staff did a tremendous job on a difficult surgical procedure on my dog Bubba. Their professionalism and dedication to the care of my dog was overwhelming. Big mahalos to all of you. BB / MW Bubba is resting pain free.

BEST VET ON THE ISLAND! The staff was super incredible, amazing, and caring of our two golden retrievers. One of the Goldens had a seizure right before their appointment and immediately, the staff came to help and were just very welcoming. Highly recommend coming here for all your vet visits! Truly an amazing experience!
